The never-ending Winter continues on here in Toronto. They say it's supposed to be nice this weekend, but at this point, I'll believe it when I see it. As such, outfit photos have been a bust, but I tried to get some on the roof of my favorite Moon Apparel dress. This dress is amazing because it's a beautiful colour and fits like a dream, but because it's made of a thick sweater material, it's warm and extremely comfortable. Alas, the elements wouldn't cooperate, so we couldn't get a good picture of the front. But, you can see my fabulous zigzag Missoni tights! Grabbed these at Target from the Missoni for Target Collection, I wish I could go back and buy more!

An Outfit's Worth a Thousand Words

Mother Nature must be hungover from the long weekend, because it snowed, AGAIN, yesterday here in Toronto. Spring, please stop being a tease and get here already! Luckily, Sunday was fairly mild and I was able to get out and grab some shots. I bought this amazing tshirt at the One of a Kind Show last year, and I've been a bit obsessed with it ever since. Let's just say it's very me. The OOAK Show was here again this weekend, did you make it out?

Elbow Patches & Loafers

I wasn't able to fly home to spend Easter Weekend with my family, but the bf and I still had a lovely, relaxing weekend in Toronto. Well, relaxing except for Thursday night, when one of my bffs came up and a big group of us went out to see Calvin Harris, Nicky Romero, R3hab, and other djs mix it up at Decadence at The Guvernment. We danced the night away and had a blast! The rest of the weekend was much more low key in comparison.

One thing that makes me laugh about this outfit, is that many of the details are stereotypical "old man" - the elbow patches, the loafers - but I love that they can look really cute when done right. Throw in some vintage Longchamp & burgundy skinny pants, and you've got yourself a look that's anything but old.

What do you think of elbow patches and/or loafers? Are they a do or a don't?
